     The fairy tales and Into the Woods musical are actually quite similar to Watership Down and the Odyssey. Now not everything about them are the same but a lot of the concepts of the musical and story are very similar. Watership Down, Odyssey, fairy tales, and Into the Woods all have the monomyth and archetype concepts. This is how all of the things that we discussed in class are linked together.

     Watership Down and Into the Woods, both stories characters go on their journey through the woods. Into the Woods is actually a couple of fairy tales into one musical. All of  the characters even interact with each other while on their journey. Another similarity between the two stories would be that on their journey they show the different archetypes. In all of the reading and movies we’ve seen inclass show the different archetypes. It is weird how all of the stories and movies that we discussed all have a common ground. They all share the monomyth and archetype concepts throught out their story. This is was links them all together.
